Chai Simple Syrup

- Ingredients: Cardamom Pods, Peppercorns, Cinnamon, Fennel, Coriander seeds, Ginger, Vanilla Bean, organic Vegan Cane Sugar
- Information:
- “For anything you need sweeter, all you have to do is add hot water”
- Preparation:
- Boil hot, filtered water (I like to use my electric kettle)
- Remove lid and pour in hot water into the container
- Replace cap and shake until the sugar dissolves
- Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature
- Strain out herbs
- Rinse bottle and Return the syrup back to the container
- Use .25-.50 per cocktail (you can also add it to coffee, tea, soda water or champagne), to add sweetness and flavor!
Keep in the fridge, simple syrup will last 2-3 months after it has been prepared. (The simple syrup left dry, in the container will not go bad.)
- Add .75 oz of alcohol (vodka, brandy, tequila) to help stabilize the product. Alcohol aids in prolonging the life of the product, pushing the expiration out to 4-5 months, when kept sealed in the fridge. But, I know you will finish it before then!
*When the product has expired it will grow mold, telling you its time as passed. DO NOT USE IF simple syrup if the product changes appearance, color, texture, or smell.*
