About Our Products
1. What do you sell?
We offer a range of beverage accessories perfect for enhancing cocktails, tea, soda water, and champagne, including small-batch bitters, simple syrups, infusion kits, and more.
2. What are bitters used for?
Bitters add complexity and balance to drinks, much like salt in cooking. They enhance flavors, stimulate digestion, and can help alleviate nausea and bloating. For cocktails, start with 3–4 dashes, adjusting to taste.
3. How are bitters made?
Bitters are crafted by steeping herbs, flowers, barks, and roots in high-proof alcohol to extract their flavors, similar to making vanilla extract or tinctures.
4. What is the difference between bitters and tinctures?
Bitters are multi-herb extractions focused on flavor and digestion, while tinctures are single-herb extractions aimed at medicinal uses.
5. Where do you source your ingredients?
We use locally sourced 190-proof alcohol and quality herbs from reputable suppliers like Mountain Rose Herbs and Starwest Botanicals. Our products are not certified organic but are made with high-quality ingredients.
6. How should I store your products?
Keep products out of direct sunlight and avoid refrigeration to prevent evaporation. For best flavor, use bitters within a year.
7. What are the flavor pairings for bitters?
We offer unique blends like Lemon Hops & Cardamom, Ginger Orange & Cardamom, and others that complement a variety of spirits and mixers.
8. What is a simple syrup and how do I prepare it?
Simple syrup is a sweet liquid made by dissolving sugar in hot water. Mix equal parts hot water with sugar, let it cool, and strain out any plant matter. Store in the refrigerator for 2–3 months, or add a small amount of alcohol to extend shelf life.
9. How do infusion kits work?
Fill the kit with your choice of spirit or non-alcoholic liquid, let it infuse for 1–3 days, then strain out the plant matter. Enjoy the infused flavors in your cocktails or mocktails.
